My wife and I were in the market for a new car. We had looked at several vehicles and were ready to buy a 2012 Camry. Toyota did not have any of the Camry models we were looking for and told us we would have to wait 8-13 days for the model to come in. My wife and I could not wait that long. I looked at Centennial Hyundai's website and saw a 2012 Sonata SE for $25500. It had the features my wife and I were looking for so the next morning I paid the dealership a visit. I met Mike Landau and Mike was very helpful in terms of finding the right car for our family. Both of us took the Sonata for a test drive and I was pretty much sold on buying the car. Mike explained to me that the Sonata we test drove did have a little more options than the one that was advertised on the net. However he knew I liked the one I drive and told me he would give it close to the price as the one advertised. Mike never pressured me the entire time we talked about the cost of the Sonata. He even showed me the price I would get, the tax, doc fees etc. and showed me what my out the door price would be. I told him I would like the price lower and he was able to agree on the out the door price I wanted. This took roughly an hour and a half but again there was no pressure. I was even running late to pick up my son but Ray in finance got me through the paperwork in 15 minutes. Mike allowed me to get my son from school and when we returned he explained the vehicle to my wife and I and soon enough we were on our way. The experience I had with Mike buying my Sonata without the stress and pressure made my car buying a pleasant one. I left the dealership feeling good and that I bought a car at the price I wanted. His incredible patience and complete listening to what you are saying, without ego getting in the way of information sharing was what kept us interested and on the premises. With his help we were able to narrow our choices and finally sit down for an offer (the other dealers felt a hello or ignoring you & trying to look busy is the way to win you over). Michael worked with us - time was not important, only what we wanted & what the dealership had available that might appeal to us. He presented the cars, and told us about the models until we decided on the Tucson. We sat down and talked about prices, and then he took our offer in to the manager (lest you think otherwise, Michael pointed out bonuses & toys, such as wheel covers, warranties, tech options, etc.)but we had only xxx amount of dollars to spend (no leather, camera or navigator for me). I love Anthony!!!! like TOTALLY the coolest OLD man ever, ha ha (kidding about the OLD part) He got me the car i wanted & knew right away by just looking at me what i wanted & he worked everything he could to get the price perfect for me AND had me in and out of there in a few hours before i had work. I highly recommend him he will have you laughing & actually want to enjoy that LONG day at the dealership! he is straight forward and will tell you what you NEED to hear not what you WANT to hear. Now tell me that isnt CUSTOMER SERVICE! He makes you feel very comfortable he probably knew my whole life story by the time i left there, he was overall GREAT! I had been recently looking into purchasing my first new car, and the experience I had at other dealerships, even the sister branch of this one on Sahara, was less than stellar. The thing that sets this dealership apart and what really impressed me was the way you get to actually look at cars on your own before a sales person pounces on you. You are allowed the freedom to look without the immediate pressure of a sales rep. Me and my family got to walk the lot and check out the different makes and models without having that awkward feeling of a sales person hovering over you. Once I had found the Elantra that really spoke to me, we walked in the dealer and within a few minutes were greeted by Anthony. He was relaxed and personable, and from the moment he pulled the 2012 Elantra right up to the front doors of the dealership for us to view and ask questions about, the experience just seemed different. Anthony takes the approach of letting you ask the questions right off the bat, instead of immediately trying to sell you. Don't get me wrong, he knows his stuff and if you didn't know anything going in about the car you were looking at, he can definitely give you the info you need, without all the fluff that usually accompanies a sell. The entire process was actually fun and relaxing for the most part, and in the end I walked out the door with the car I wanted and a payment that fit my budget. Even after the sale was a done deal, Anthony took the time to sit down with me and go through all the features in the car, making sure I had all the information "I" wanted by the time I left the lot. Even after Anthony had been working a 12 hour day, and me being the last sale for him that day, I never felt rushed at any time or any pressure to leave the lot once the sale was completed. Overall, I left the dealer with the perfect car for me and a surprisingly pleasant experience for purchasing my first vehicle. There wasn't a single moment where I felt any kind of pressure, or felt any of the usual car salesman runaround or b.s. My apologies for the use of that term, but I must call it what it is. In my 25 years of buying cars(I'm 42), 100% of my car purchasing experiences were, at their core, purely "what will it take to close this deal?" driven experience that always left me feeling cheated in one way or another. Even my experience of buying my 2007 Accent four years ago(from a different local Hyundai dealership)left me shaking my head and really upset with myself for ever agreeing to buy from that salesman. If it wasn't for the Accent's stellar value, solid performance and reliability, I would have felt completely cheated in the deal. Instead, Anthony's warm and professional treatment allowed me to have a great time buying the best car I've ever had. I truly, down deep inside, walked away feeling that it was the best decision I could have made. Wow. Through listening attentively, he did something surprising, right off the bat. After hearing me talk about all the things I wanted in a car(kind of a wish list of cool stuff) for maybe 15 minutes, he decided on which car to show me first. On his first try, he unbelievably nailed it, on so many levels. I was honestly shocked at how the interior colors, exterior color, features down to the smallest detail were... perfect. I said to myself " no way dude, you've got to be kidding me". Nothing like that ever happened to me before. My cars in the past always had a list of compromises I had to accept in them. When it came to features, options packages, colors, materials etc... And I accepted the fact that in this imperfect world, that the perfect car didn't exist, and I had to just be realistic about it. It kinda sucked, but that's just how it goes, that's just life. But day before yesterday, the day I bought the car, I was proven dead wrong. Anthony actually found me the perfect car. With my past experiences in the forefront of my mind, I came to the dealership prepared for battle, and ready to give whatever salesperson I was stuck with, no quarter. Instead, after completing the entire process, I found myself thanking him for giving me the gift of living with that peace of mind that only comes with total satisfaction. I said to myself “ no way dude, you’ve got to be kidding me”. Nothing like that ever happened to me before. My cars in the past always had a list of compromises I had to accept in them. When it came to features, options packages, colors, materials etc... And I accepted the fact that in this imperfect world, that the perfect car didn’t exist, and I had to just be realistic about it. It kinda sucked, but that’s just how it goes, that’s just life. But day before yesterday, the day I bought the car, I was proven dead wrong. Anthony actually found me the perfect car. With my past experiences in the forefront of my mind, I came to the dealership prepared for battle, and ready to give whatever salesperson I was stuck with, no quarter. Instead, after completing the entire process, I found myself thanking him for giving me the gift of living with that peace of mind that only comes with total satisfaction.
