Pontus was great got it done quickly with no issues, the only thing was when he ran the credit it went to 4-5 different credit companies with a credit score over 830 why was it run to so many companies? I had so many credit alerts from Life Lock from companies I did not even know about, I thought it was being run through Hyundai credit, was surprised I now have 4 new inquiries. Other then that it was fast and easy.

I've been going here to get my car serviced for years and ultimately, I have mixed feelings about this place. Warning, this review is long.
In 2012 I bought a brand new Hyundai Elantra Touring. I figured that the safest way to make sure the warranty was always honored was to get my regular servicing done at the dealership. That way Hyundai couldn't accuse me of not having my car properly serviced.
Throughout the years, the front desk at Hyundai has always been friendly, courteous, professional and communicative. Everything you could want from customer service. Their courtesy shuttle is great. Often I would get a courtesy wash. I had a few minor warranty issues which they honored without question.
However, make no mistake, their services are far more expensive than a local mechanic's would be. You pay a premium at a dealership, expecting that they are specialized in your car and will use quality parts. I get that.
But now I am having severe transmission problems, and facing a complete transmission rebuild / replacement and it causes me to suspect the quality of the work they do in the back. Let me explain:
I honestly have always wondered how thorough their mechanics in the back were. Like were they really giving things a good once over / check, or were they just cranking out an oil change and calling it done? Many times I would take my car in to get a regular service and it would be returned to me without its fluids topped off. Which was annoying, and not a big deal, but spoke volumes as to their attention to detail...
Another thing that always bothered me was that I would take my car in for specific services like 15k, 30k, 50k, 90k, 100k mile services which had very specific line items in the owner's manual that needed to be done. However, on the service invoice it would only generically list "customer requests 15k service" and it would rarely itemize in detail what work they did. And if it did itemize it, it always seemed to be slightly off from the necessary work listed in the service manual.
Which leads me to my current issue. My car has around 115,000 miles on it. Throughout its life and over the course of its regular service, its transmission fluid should have been inspected, drained and flushed as needed, every 40,000 miles. It absolutely is required to be replaced every 60,000 miles. Which means my car should have had its transmission fluid changed at least twice, possibly three times in its life. Yet according to Hyundai's vague computer labeling system it was only ever listed as a specific line item once, early on, at the 30k service mark. Apparently, never again, did the mechanics check / decide I needed fresh transmission fluid.
Fast forward to August 2018, I take it in for its 112,500 service, which is weirdly and confusingly listed on their computer system as a "15k service" (go figure). It's an expensive service, in which they yet again neglect to top off wiper fluid. Grr. Anyway, by the laws of mileage math, and the specific instructions in the owners manual, I am expecting they will flush the transmission for the price I pay. They do not. But certainly they check the trans fluid at least, as dictated in the manual right?
Now, for those of you who don't know, one of the quickest ways to kill your transmission is to drive it on low or dirty transmission fluid.
Now, barely two months later, I start experiencing problems with my transmission. Slipping and lagging between gears, occasional hard lurches into reverse. I take it in, they tell me my transmission fluid is burnt and low and that my transmission is probably dying. They suggest that I need it drained to see if that helps the situation.
I am confused (and angry) of course, because I thought a drain and flush was something they would have taken care of during previous regular services, especially the last service in August. At the very least they would have noticed burnt/low fluid and made me aware of an impending problem. Even the service rep is confused how after years of service, it appears my transmission fluid was changed only once according to their records.
It makes me suspect that they never really checked the transmission fluid at all, or were lax about doing so, despite it being called for in the service manual.
To be fair, I understand that my car has a lot of miles on it, and I should be grateful that this is the first major mechanical problem I have had with the car - maybe that's a credit to their service department. But still, to be told that my transmission fluid is in such a sorry state so shortly after paying a hefty amount to have my car serviced ( a service which should have included replacing the trans fluid), it makes me suspicious.
Needless to say, I paid for them to drain and replace my trans fluid. It didn't help. Now that my 100,000 warranty is up I will be parting ways with Centennial Hyundai for good, to seek out a transmission specialist.
